Our specimen collection services are conducted by certified collectors trained in federal procedures, include observed collections when required (such as for return-to-duty and follow-up testing), and ensure proper split specimen handling for confirmation testing.

How do I find the nearest TEAM clinic location?
When you place a testing order through TEAM's employer portal, the system automatically identifies the nearest clinic location to your employee and generates an authorization with the address, hours, and instructions. Your account manager can also help you identify locations in specific areas before you need them
Do employees need an appointment or can they walk in?
Most TEAM clinic locations accept walk-in visits for drug testing collections. DOT physicals and some occupational health services may require appointments. When you place an order through the TEAM portal, the authorization will indicate whether an appointment is needed and provide scheduling instructions.
How quickly are drug test results available?
Expect standard lab-based urine drug test results within 24-48 hours after the specimen reaches the laboratory. Instant/rapid tests provide preliminary results at the point of collection. All lab-based results are reviewed by a licensed Medical Review Officer (MRO) before being reported to you.
Can you perform drug testing at our location instead of a clinic?
Yes. TEAM provides on-site and mobile collection services for employers who need testing at their location. This is ideal for post-accident testing, large-scale hiring events, remote job sites, and reasonable suspicion situations where the employee should not travel. On-site collections are available 24/7 for emergencies.
What types of drug tests are available at TEAM clinics?
Choose from urine drug testing (5-panel through expanded panels), oral fluid (saliva) testing, hair follicle testing, and breath alcohol testing (BAT). Both DOT-regulated and non-DOT collections are available. Your TEAM account configuration determines which test types are used for your employees.
Are TEAM clinic locations DOT-compliant?
Yes. Every collection site in TEAM's network follows the federal collection procedures required for DOT-regulated testing. Collectors are trained in DOT protocols, all specimens are processed at SAMHSA/HHS-certified laboratories, and electronic chain of custody documentation meets all federal record-keeping requirements.
How does electronic chain of custody (eCCF) work?
Electronic chain of custody replaces the traditional paper custody and control form with a fully digital process. Your collector enters collection information into a secure system on-site, the laboratory receives the specimen with digital documentation, and the MRO reviews results electronically. This eliminates paperwork errors, speeds up your turnaround, and creates a more reliable audit trail.
